Invoices and receipts will be kept for a minimum of 7 years for tax purposes, however all other documents, emails and messages will be deleted after a period of 3 years.

Our website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform which allows us to advertise our products and services to you and allows you to contact us. Our email system is Gmail. All emails will be deleted after a period of 3 years. Any invoices or Receipts sent to you by us will be retained securely by us for a minimum of 7 years for tax purposes. If you choose to contact us through Facebook or Facebook messenger, all messages will be deleted after a period of 3 years. If it is necessary to provide your details to a 3rd party such as a venue or wedding planner for identification, and to ensure the delivery of your cake, then we will do so.

Your Personal Information details will not be shared with third parties other than those stated above, unless there is a Legal Obligation – where there is statutory or other legal requirement to share the information e.g. when we must share your information for law enforcement purposes.

Janette MacPherson Cake Craft will take photographs of the cakes created. These will be used on (and not limited to) our website, social media, promotional material and portfolio.
